About Me

My photo
Chris James Anderson, Ed.D
UCAN promotes an understanding of classroom assessment networks to optimize equitable inclusive education. My professional experiences include K-12 teaching, supervision of staff, development of assessment programs, consultation to SEAs or LEAs, faculty, and administration of educational programs. The goal is to provide teaching and learning through professional development that promotes the learning for all mission. A second doctoral program emphasized Educational Leadership through Effective Schools Research. An initial doctoral program at Boston University focused upon curriculum & teaching. Post-graduate special studies at Harvard University, a Master of Arts in applied psychology from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Baruch College-CUNY, resulted in a diverse academic background. Regardless if serving as a consultant or PD facilitator, member of state-wide workgroups, or as editor of the JITP; advocacy for educational mandates and theories encourage effective best practices through intentionality, care, optimism, respect, and trust. Monthly blog posts herein exhibit this invitational mindset and educational philosophy.
